Alternate Dimension
Description
Miro has always been able to see somewhere else. Everybody told him he was lying about it, for years, until he stopped saying it out loud.
At 2:14 one morning a worm comes into his bedroom, climbs into his head, and opens a hole in his floor.
Everything down there wants something. A dandelion who has never been asked a question. A ghost with three notes and ninety years. A beaver who has never been beaten at cups. A tiger nobody can see. A television that has been broadcasting to grass. You can fight all of them, and it always works, and it always costs you what they would have given you instead.
Chapters one and two, about 30–40 minutes.
